In this surreal contemporary dark comedy, the question is asked, “how do we develop a self-defense from the constant barrage of fear we encounter in our everyday lives?” Sadie is living her life, working as a children's book publisher, taking self-defense classes, and singing at the karaoke bar down the street. Sadie, like everyone in the town of Blogg’s, is reeling from the disappearance of 12 kids from the local Middle School. Her life is turned upside down when, while taking her self-defense class, she knocks out Yul’s tooth. Yul is a strange man, paranoid and conspiracy-minded. But is there more to Yul than meets the eye? In this story a Butcher, a librarian, a custodian, a book publisher, and a loner must figure out how to stop the big bad wolf haunting their town and taking their children.
