VTA 2024: Standing on the Shoulders of Giants

Home of the Brave is inspired by interviews with hundreds of military dependents and their families, teachers, and counselors. Five middle school students learn how to deal with constant moving, worrying about deployed parents, best friends who PCS overseas, and never knowing how long they’ll be in a particular school. Home of the Brave is about family, friendship, the importance of place, belonging, and dealing with change.
